Shrimp & Crab Gumbo
2 Tbsp
Whole Butter
1/2 C
Onion, diced
1/2 C
Celery, diced
1/4 C
Flour
6 C
Crab Stock (shrimp stock)

Bay Leaf
1/8 tsp
Salt
1/8 tsp
White Pepper
Pinch
Cayenne Pepper
1 C
Tomato, canned, diced & drained
1 C
Okra, frozen, sliced
1/2 lb
Raw Shrimp, peeled, de-veined, cut
into pieces
1/4 lb
Crab Meat
  Serve with Cooked White Rice
Sauté onion and celery in butter on medium heat until soft
– about 10 minutes.  Stir in flour and reduce heat.  
Cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add crab stock, stir well and bring to a boil.
Add bay leaf, salt and both peppers then reduce heat and
simmer for 15 minutes.
Add shrimp, tomato and okra then cook until shrimp is
just done (about 10 minutes).
Add crab meat then adjust salt and pepper to taste.
